Are you a Landscape Architect who has experience working on garden and landscape design projects for private clients? I’m looking for someone that has character and passion to join a bespoke team of creative landscape designers in their Fulham office.
Established over 13 years ago, the practice has developed a reputation for creating beautiful gardens and landscapes for private and public clients. With projects ranging from intimate townhouse gardens and roof terraces to large country estates, holiday villas and hotels, 80% of their work is currently within the UK (with a particular focus on London and its home counties) and 20% is internationally based. Winners of several Chelsea Flower Show medals, their goal is to create gardens and landscapes that are seductive and harmonious, creating beautiful places to inhabit and enjoy.
The practice’s current projects consist of a variety of private and non-private clients, however for this role it is essential that you have a desire to work primarily with private clients and have an understanding of how this process works, as you will be required to liaise directly with clients when necessary.
Live projects that you will come in on include hotel grounds in Tokyo, a number of public squares and plazas, small garden designs and country estates. With such diverse project types available, you will benefit from working days that are full of variety.
Salary for this role is competitive and dependent on each applicants experience. In addition to this, candidates are entitled to a statutory pension and a discretionary annual bonus.
The office is located in the peaceful outskirts of Fulham, away from the hectic hustle and bustle of London. Enjoy a short walk through the neighbourhood and you’ll find several easily accessible transport links, including Putney Bridge, Parsons Green and Fulham Broadway tube stations.
This team of 11 have a positive and happy outlook on their daily working life and it’s all down to their employer. The requirement for overtime is rare, with minimal late nights worked throughout the year; thus resulting in a group of cheerful and content employees. By encouraging a good work life balance, a lively and light hearted team has been formed where genuine friendships have been made and good humour flows.
The team love to get together and try their best to arrange events and evenings frequently throughout the year. Whether it be go karting, the theatre, lunches or lively evening drinks, there’s always an effort to keep things social. They are incredibly conscious about staff happiness and with a non-corporate feel to the office, opinions and thoughts are welcomed; including requests for support and professional development.
Flexible working hours are also available, ensuring that the company cater as best they can for different individuals commute and/or external commitments.
If you have the required skills and experience and would like to be considered for this amazing opportunity, please forward your CV and portfolio ASAP to email@example.com or call 01243 779789.
