Architect Job – Remote Working

This AJ 100 Architectural practice has a new opportunity for an Architect to work on UK-based education projects on an initial contract of 3 months. This role is remote so candidates can be based anywhere in the UK.

With over 120 staff in three offices in Leeds, London and Manchester, their track record of high-profile projects coupled with over 40 years’ worth of experience has recently resulted in them entering the AJ100. Some of their speciality markets include education, leisure facilities, as well as hotels, residential, masterplannning and commercial/industrial sectors. This has resulted in exposing staff of all levels to a wide array of project types and challenges.

Due to a number of education projects they require an Architect with UK education project Experience to join the practice on a contract basis.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Take a role in the running of education projects
  • Working across all project stages
  • Working on the production of design and technical drawings
  • Assisting on the production of bids
  • Using Revit on a daily basis.
  • Working directly with clients.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Qualified Architect
  • Possess a minimum of 3 years post-graduation experience
  • Able to work remotely
  • Experience in UK schools projects will be essential for the role.
  • Current working knowledge of Revit is an essential requirement of the role
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience of running projects with values of 2millon plus.

What you get back

  • Hourly rate of £25 – £30phr.
