An Architecture job in Surrey for an Architectural Technician or a technically skilled Part II assistant, who is looking to work on a number of residential projects and to develop their career with this successful midsized practice near Guildford.
Established in 1991, my client is a RIBA chartered practice of 13 people based in Godalming, and 8 others across two additional offices. They have completed a broad collection of management and architectural projects ranging from residential design and listed building renovations to commercial concepts and interior design.
Due to their growing pipeline of work, they require a talented and creative Architectural Technician or Part II Assistant to join their team in Surrey on a full time, permanent basis.
Role & Responsibilities
You would be working on a number of exciting and diverse projects from feasibility stage through to completion. The projects range from master planning, new builds, extensions and refurbishments to existing high end residential properties, as well as commercial and public buildings.
Required Skills & Experience
- A minimum of 3 years UK experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Ability to use Revit would be highly advantageous but training would be given
- Solid construction knowledge and technical drawing ability
- Good knowledge of UK Building regulations, construction methods and able to carry out specifications
