Seeking an Architectural Assistant or Architect with experience working on historical buildings, to initially work a 6 month fixed term contract, with the possibility for this to become a permanent position.

You’ll be joining a medium-sized practice offering a full range of specialist architectural services for the repair and restoration of historic buildings, estates and landscapes and for the design of extensions and new buildings in historic settings. They are well known for the consistency of their approach and their meticulous attention to detail. Due to recent success and growth, they now require an Architectural Assistant or Architect to join them on a 6-month fixed term contract with the possibility of becoming permanent.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Assisting the lead Architect on multiple projects at one time
  • Production of detailed drawing packages
  • Working across various project stages on each project
  • Use of Revit on a daily basis.

Required Skills & Experience

  • A minimum of 2 years Post Part III qualified
  • Working knowledge of Revit is essential for the position, ideally working to Revit BIM Level 2
  • Experience working on historical buildings
  • Experience in Vectorworks is also beneficial but not essential
  • Minimum of 2 years UK working experience.

What you get back

  • Salary of Circa £30,000
  • Working hours 9:30am – 6:00pm (including 1-hour lunch break)
  • 10 working days for the fixed term of 6 months, plus statutory bank / public holidays.
