Associate Architect - East Central London

This continually growing practice has studios in both the UK and Europe. They are now seeking a successful Associate Architect to join them in their London practice and contribute to their future growth.

Formed of a collection of like-minded architects my client is dedicated to creating places and architecture of enduring quality. They share a goal to create considered and responsive architectural solutions that are explored through both collective and individual thought. They are a practice that allows anyone with determination, ability and craft to contribute to the practice’s direction and represent the practice at the highest level.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Director
  • Managing a variety of workplace and residential from inception through to construction stages
  • Attending regular meetings with clients, contractors, consultants and authorities
  • Liaising with internal and external team members and organisations
  • Supervising Architectural Assistants and Architects
  • Setting out budgets, costs, deadlines and resources
  • Specifically overseeing all delivery stages of all live projects within the practice
  • Be part of the senior team responsible for continued growth and success of the practice.

Required Skills & Experience

  • RIBA Part III qualified with a minimum of 7 years PQE
  • Proven experience of working on either workplace or residential projects within the UK
  • Excellent, all-round experience across all RIBA work stages
  • Experience in networking and building a client base
  • The ability to lead, coordinate and supervise internal and external teams
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Full Revit proficiency is essential for this position
  • Able to use your own initiative and meet strict deadlines
  • Extensive client facing experience
  • Confident and enthusiastic in representing the business and brand
  • Experience in business development.
