Are you an established luxury hospitality Associate Designer looking to work for an iconic and timeless design practice based in SW London? Our design and architecture client has been established for 16 years and have built an impressive array of the most prestigious hotel clients in the world. The practice is made up of a team of 25 designers, architects and 3D visualisers they work collaboratively across multiple projects in the US, Europe, London and Asia.

Working on both new build and refurbs, they have an ever-growing list of reputable clients such as The Four Seasons Hotel. Their design style always falls in line with the surroundings of the scheme they are involved in, sourcing local materials. Luxury residential developments and private yachts are also part of their portfolio of works.

To be considered for the role you must demonstrate excellent presentations skills from initial concept stage whilst having the ability to oversee the delivery of the project and the work of a small design team. You must have all-round design skills and oversee both the concept, FF&E and technical delivery of the project. You must also demonstrate a strong portfolio of top end Hotel projects.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Reporting into the Director, you will be taking over the lead on a prestigious Hotel project in the US from initial concept stages
  • Running a project from concept right through to completion
  • Produce and oversee the production of mood boards for presentations
  • Presenting to clients
  • Leading and mentoring a design team
  • Constant communication with the client either via conference call or face to face
  • Distribute the workload across the team and ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget
    -To communicate FF&E design ideas to the FF&E team and oversee the design process in line with the original brief
  • Coordinate with relevant consultants and contractors

Required Skills & Experience

  • Ideally 8 + years’ experience in luxury design the majority of which will be in hospitality design
  • Experienced in working on large-scale top end Hotel projects
  • The ability to run a project from initial concept phase to completion
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Excellent client care and management skills
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop and InDesign
