Associate Landscape Architect Job – Manchester

We are currently working with a leading landscape consultancy who have an Associate Landscape Architect job in its Manchester office. The company ethos is one of passion in its design and projects while also offering a great environment for its staff.

My client is an established yet growing landscape consultancy who has 40 years of expertise and know how to deliver high-quality design and placemaking. With eight offices across the UK, each with their own personality; and made up of an established team of urban designers, landscape architects, planners and architects. The role offers flexible working with home working available. Due to continued growth the practice is now seeking an Associate Landscape Architect to join the team.

Role & Responsibilities

• Take a lead role in the running of public realm projects from concept to construction
• Working to develop client and user focused designs
• Production of concept and technical drawings
• Dealing directly with clients and external consultants
• Managing a team
• Visiting Site as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

• Qualified Landscape Architect with a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience
• CMLI accredited
• Experience on Public realm projects would be beneficial
• Ability to run projects and take a lead role in a team
• Experience across all RIBA stages
• Technical experience in detailed design packages thought to delivery
• Ability to work with clients and multidisciplinary teams
• Understanding of Urban design and master planning is desirable
• Proficiency in Adobe suite, AutoCAD, Rhino and ideally Revit.
