Associate Planner - Bristol

Our client is a top 25 UK property consultancy with a reputation lasting 100 years, due to growth they are now looking for an Associate Planner to join their Bristol Head Office.

This multi-disciplinary practice is now looking for an Associate Planner to provide planning advice to both public and private sector clients in the South West. You will be working across several sectors, to include residential, commercial, education, healthcare.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Service existing clients and generate new business
  • Manage own caseload, delegating effectively when needed
  • Preparation of planning appraisals and reports
  • Promoting planning and Listed Building applications and securing permissions
  • Team coordination both internal and sub-consultant
  • Preparation of planning appeals
  • Site promotion and representations

Skills & Experience Required

  • 4 years’ + experience as Planner for a consultancy
  • Ability to act as expert witness
  • RTPI accredited degree desirable
  • Proven track record in gaining planning consent
  • Ability to generate new business
