This award-winning environmental design consultancy have a new role for a Bid Manager to join its business support team in Bristol. The role would offer a constant variety of projects and an excellent benefits package.

The company employ over 180 people across its six UK offices with 36 people based in its Bristol office. They cover a number of disciplines including landscape design, strategic planning, urban design, landscape planning and environmental assessment.

Due to ongoing growth they require a Bid manager to work with its studios across the UK working from the office in Bristol.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Identify business opportunities for all Luc services using tender tracker or contracts advantage and other relevant sources
  • Working closely with the directors to ensure that bids are evaluated against the business strategy and the case for bidding is approved in a
    timely and efficient manner.
  • Take a lead and coordination in the preparation of bids
  • Preparation of presentation visuals
  • Develop and update case studies a client reference
  • Ensure bids are in accordance with the companies’ quality and commercial standards
  • Work to identify future contract and frame work opportunities
  • Produce monthly reports on key bid management metrics
  • Attend bid meeting.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Posses commercial Bid writing experience
  • Bid management experience
  • Track record of project management
  • Shipley Bid training certification or equivalent would be beneficial
  • Knowledge of landscape design or planning sectors would be highly desirable
  • Excellent MS office skills including MS work with the ability to format and present technical information
  • Understanding of formal procurement process and familiarity with the relevant procurement processes.
  • You will need to addend meetings so travel will be required on average of twice a month.
