Seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator to join a popular AJ100, employee owned practice, on a permanent basis.

Based in the heart of Brixton, this RIBA Chartered architectural firm, specialise predominantly in large scale, high end residential design. However, their work is split into 4 main sectors; commercial, residential, hotels and master planning, across the East of England and London. This employee owned practice have ambition, encourage personal development and are passionate about high-quality design.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Setting up of models
  • Support project teams in the use of BIM tools
  • Monitor the agreed workflows and modelling techniques that are used projects
  • Project specific Revit content creation
  • Performing BIM Coordination exercises with the team
  • Maintenance of project BIM documentation
  • Federate models and perform clash detection
  • Work with all teams in the office
  • Provide feedback on the team’s performance and requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Qualified as an Architect or an Architectural Technician/Technologist
  • A minimum of 2 years UK professional working experience in a BIM position
  • Experience of working on major residential projects valued £50m+
  • Advanced Revit skills are essential for this position (a minimum of 3 years’ experience)
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, Navisworks, InDesign and Dynamo would also be advantageous
  • Experience working on BIM level 2 projects
  • Sound technical understanding
  • Interest in QA/QA systems
  • Able to explain complex topics in simple terms
  • A professional and personal commitment to the project and team success
  • Demonstrate initiative and involvement in the company’s strategic BIM development
  • Fantastic written and verbal English.
