Business Development Manager – Interior Design - London

Are you an experienced Business Development Manager with a successful track record of developing and managing an international client base? The practice you will be joining has a diverse portfolio of worldwide projects across the luxury residential and hospitality sectors. Your role will see you take responsibility for managing their existing network within the Asian market and focus on new business development.

Our client is a successful and well-recognised interior design practice that are known for creating luxury and exquisite contemporary residential projects across the globe. This role will be based from their London office but will see the successful candidate liaising with international clients, specifically HNWI and UHNWIs based in the Asian market.

The scope of the role shall include building a clear strategy to achieve increased brand awareness, enhanced relationships with clients and expanding upon their existing global network.

Role & Responsibilities

  • To develop connections and maintain an understanding of the high-end residential sector within the Asian market
  • To expand and maintain relationships with HNWI and UHNWI clients
  • Oversee and coordinate all marketing and PR materials
  • Develop branding and communication strategies that align with company objectives
  • To identify and attend key industry events across the globe for the purpose of building new business
  • To be involved in the development of marketing strategies which lead to increase brand awareness and new business development, including expanding their social media presence

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience and connections with the Asian market
  • Prior experience in a similar business development role within the interior design/architecture industries
  • Fluent in Chinese and English, capable of translating relevant documents and materials
  • Degree level qualification in business marketing
  • Experience working within the high-end and luxury residential markets
  • Strong communication skills
  • Fluent (spoken and written) in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin Chinese
  • Competent user of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Microsoft Office Suite.
