Customer Care Manager Job in East Anglia

I have a Customer Care Manager job with a national house building business who are financially backed by a leading construction and regeneration group. The role is based at one of their regional offices in East Anglia. My client is looking for someone who comes with experience of working for a housebuilder and understands the construction process. The role is offering a salary of up to £40,000 + Car allowance + 10% bonus.

With nearly 1,000 members of staff spread across 9 regional offices, my client is looking for an experienced Customer Care Manager to join their East Anglia division. You will join a team of 3 coordinators, 6 technicians and report directly into the Head of Customer Care.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Maintain great relationships with customers
  • Have regular contact with customers in accordance with the customer journey
  • Contribute to monthly reports and meetings
  • Responsible for managing defects and organising solutions in a timely manner
  • Manage maintenance operatives and coordinators
  • Contribute to trying to achieve a high HBF rating
  • Assist with defect inspections
  • Create great relationships with other departments
  • Escalate any long outstanding issues regarding defects
  • Feedback to the whole team about repeated problems and issues

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experienced dealing with customers in a house building environment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Up to date and strong knowledge of NHBC standards
  • Have a good understanding of the construction process
  • Microsoft office literate
  • Be a good team player
  • Proactive with solving problems
  • Quick decision maker
