Development Manager Job in West Sussex

My client is a privately owned developer that have a Development Manager job available in their Southern region, based in West Sussex.

This 5-star housebuilder are looking for a Development Manager or Senior Development Manager for the Partnerships area of the business. In this role, you’ll be working closely with the internal pre-development and strategic land teams as well as housing associations and local authorities.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Communicate and build relationships with local authorities and housing associations
  • Coordinate design, planning, commercial, technical and construction
  • Lead internally from feasibility through to construction on site
  • Attend and lead meetings with clients, local authorities and other stakeholders
  • Push back on costs when required
  • Support the business development team on winning new business.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience as a Development Manager
  • Experience working with partnerships
  • Ideally a relevant degree
  • Able to review programmes.
