FF&E Procurement Assistant - High-End Interior Design - London

Due to an increasing pipeline of projects our client is now seeking an FF&E Procurement Assistant to join their team on a full-time permanent basis, assisting with the purchasing and sourcing of a range of high-end and luxury goods – both off-the-shelf and bespoke pieces. This is a great opportunity for someone with at least 1-2 years of procurement experience to continue their career with a well-established and recognised design studio.

With an ever-growing portfolio of clients, this practice is famous for its luxurious and high-profile projects. Their eclectic yet sophisticated interiors are regularly published in design magazines and winners of design accolades. You will be working alongside their team of designers and architects to assist with the procurement of items that play a key role in their design aesthetic.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Liaise with suppliers across the globe to obtain quotes and discuss terms of service
  • To work within set budgets and timeframes, ensuring items meet the required specification and can be delivered on time
  • Liaise with internal teams and contractors to organise FF&E logistics and installation
  • Quality control
  • Keep track of and approve invoices from suppliers, liaising with the relevant internal departments for reconciliation.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 1-2+ years’ experience in a similar role within the high-end design sector
  • Good knowledge of furniture design, manufacture, and materials
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Competent MS Office user with strong experience using Excel
  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple demands.
