Our client is an award-winning multi-disciplinary consultancy with over 30 years’ experience and due to further growth they are now looking for a graduate Urban Designer to join the team.

As a company, they have over 70 staff working across planning, master planning, environmental services, landscape architecture and architecture, on a wide range of projects including housing, leisure and infrastructure nationally, so would offer great exposure for a Graduate Urban Designer to develop and learn.

Role & Responsibilities

  • To provide mixed use and residential masterplans for UK projects
  • Produce urban design concepts supported by well-considered design rationales that take account of technical constraints
  • Develop design concepts from initial ideas through to sketch layouts.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Urban design qualification
  • Have a minimum of 1 years UK practice experience
  • Possess a portfolio focusing on Masterplanning
  • Strong design, drawing and writing skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience of the following software would be desirable: VectorWorks / AutoCAD.
