Great new role for an HR Administrator based in Orpington for one of our leading clients, due to further growth within the wider business and HR function they now need someone to support their team of 3 with general HR administration. The company is a multidisciplinary consultancy with many awards to its name award winning, they specialise in commercial, healthcare, education, industrial, retail, mixed-use and residential projects mainly in the South East. They offer a multitude of services in Architecture, BIM, M&E, Engineering, Surveying, Project Management and H&S. Made up of 6 offices and 240 staff, they are continuing to take on new projects to further their successful growth.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Process all employee data accurately and on time
  • Collect and record all required documents
  • Filing both electronic and paper in accordance with Data Protection Regulations
  • Set up new starters on our HR system and monitor induction and training progress before end of probation
  • Update staff training records and liaise with the Head of Quality & Business Improvement to ensure all staff are compliant
  • Assist the HR Co-ordinator with recruitment, including advertising vacancies on the website, arranging interviews where appropriate and sending out Hiring Manager’s Recruitment Packs
  • Prepare payroll amendments
  • Assist the Senior HR Adviser in arranging staff training sessions
  • Assist with processing personal vehicle documents and salary updates on the HR system

Required Skills & Experience

  • Previous administration experience (experience in an HR capacity would be preferred)
  • Microsoft Office
  • Ability to manage competing priorities
  • Knowledge of social media would be advantageous
  • Willingness to learn and progress within an HR supportive role
