HR Manager Job in New Milton, Hampshire

Exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Manager to join a growing SME is New Milton, Hampshire. The role will see you join a team of 50, working on both transactional and transformational HR activities, helping to shape and build this growing group of companies.

My client is a workplace interior design and construction company with strong family values. They’re currently going through a period of expansion and are looking for a HR professional to join their team on a full-time permanent basis from their office in New Milton. As part of this role, you will be working across the full employee life-cycle and help to define the people-related processes and culture of the business.

Role & Responsibilities

  • To create and develop people-related processes and procedures
  • Assist with recruitment
  • Handle employee relations matters
  • Assist with salary benchmarking, structures, and benefits
  • Oversee training and development for staff
  • HR-related administration
  • Work closely with the executive team to develop the company culture and strategic goals

Required Skills & Experience

  • CIPD Qualified, Level 5 or above
  • Degree qualified in Human Resource Management or similar
  • 5+ years’ in a similar management or generalist role
  • Good employment law knowledge and understanding of HR best practice
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
