Interior Architect / Project Lead - Workplace / Commercial - NW London

Our client is seeking an Interior Architect / Project Lead to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis, working on a high-end workplace project based in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity for a Part III Qualified Interior Architect to join a growing team and have a key part in leading projects from concept through to completion and working directly with the client.

Established over a decade ago, this practice works across a range of building sizes and typologies, specialising in a number of sectors such as, residential, commercial, masterplanning, cultural, and education. Currently a team of 12, with a diverse portfolio of work, their designs can be found all over the world and due to all their success, they have won numerous awards, including Architect of the year and several RIBA international awards.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Liaise directly with the client to understand and interpret the design requirements, confidently leading client meetings and delivering presentations
  • To deliver and manage the project from initial concept through to completion, including but not limited to, concept creation, planning, technical packages, FF&E specification, and procurement
  • Ensure the required standard of delivery is being achieved at all stages of the design process and budgets are being adhered to
  • Liaise with all relevant parties, including clients, contractors, and suppliers
  • Manage and guide junior members of the team daily
  • Travel to site and attend client meetings.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Part III Qualified Architect, with a strong background of interior architecture (5+ years’ PQE)
  • Must have experience working on high-end commercial and luxury hospitality projects
  • Team management experience
  • Competent using AutoCAD and Adobe Suite, Revit experience is also highly desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
