Established in 2004, we are a small, successful recruitment consultancy based in Chichester specialising in recruitment within the property sector, specifically design, maintenance and management. Our growing business now requires a bright, confident and hardworking individual to join our Interior Design department.

The ID team manages vacancies from junior level appointments to directorship and admin type roles within the interior design and interior architecture sectors, mainly in the UK but also overseas. Clients vary from boutique design studios through to international brands, in-house design teams and AJTop 100 practices.

With a very busy desk and an ever-growing list of clients, we are looking for a self-motivated individual who is up for a challenge and enjoys working within the creative industry, to join our Interior Design team. Excellent earning potential and career prospects are on offer for the right candidate.

Applicants must have:

  • Previous experience working in 360 recruitment/consultative sales environment
  • Experience working in design and/or architecture recruitment would be highly beneficial
  • Confident managing key accounts; maintaining and fostering existing client relationships
  • Proven business development experience
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with people of all levels
  • Outstanding client facing skills and experience
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively
  • Motivation to succeed in a target driven environment
  • Ability to work effectively individually and as part of a team
  • Excellent knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook

The role is varied and includes activities such as communication with clients and candidates by phone, email and face to face, coordination of interviews, offers and placements and use of our in-house database and admin processes. Full training will be provided, and we have a structured development plan in place to build your confidence and skills until you can take ownership of your accounts and take on as much responsibility as you’re happy with.
