A new property job in Manchester with a large national house builder, trading in the UK for over 70 years with a 5-star HBF rating. Due to their continued growth and success in the North West of England an opportunity now exists for a Land Manager to join our client’s Manchester office on a full time and permanent basis.
Reporting to the Land Director the successful candidate will work closely with Agents, Land Owners and property professionals to acquire enough land to meet the company’s 3-5 year rolling targets and the goals of the Manchester Division.
Role & Responsibilities
- Working closely with the Land Lead/Regional Director to manage the Land and Planning Department
- Manage land purchase activity and maintain the regions land portfolios and schedules
- Actively source and manage new land opportunities
- Lead on negotiations and formulate offers to pursue land
- Maintain current knowledge of pertinent legislation and land use regulations
- Attend planning meetings
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years’ experience
- RICS or RTPI beneficial but not essential
- Degree qualified (ideally Planning or Surveying)
