Land Surveyor Job in Berkshire

This is an opportunity for a Land Surveyor to join a growing regional land surveying company based along the M4. The successful candidate can be home based working mainly along the M4 corridor from Chippenham to Reading.

Due to the increase in workload, my client are looking for a Topographical Land Surveyor to carry out site surveys and process their own data to produce 2D plans. Your working week will be fairly evenly split between site and home where you’ll be given everything you need to produce the drawings remotely. The equipment you’ll be provided with includes TS15 total station, GPS, Laptop and software licenses such as LSS and AutoCAD. If you haven’t used this specific equipment or software before, please still get in contact as training could be provided.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Carry out topographical surveys
  • Process own data and drawings
  • Manage own workload
  • Ensure H&S is adhered to at all times
  • Liaise with all stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience carrying out topographical surveys on your own
  • Able to process own data
  • Competent in using total stations and GPS
  • Laser scanner experience would be an advantage, but not essential
  • Competent user of LSS would be an advantage
