Landscape Architect – Abingdon Oxfordshire

We are currently working with a global building consultancy who currently have a new role for a Landscape Architect working from its Oxfordshire office near Abingdon. The position would offer an interesting mix of projects working directly with local communities. The successful applicant will receive an excellent benefits package and career progression.

This global firm has over 40 UK offices and is a growing company with over 5000 employees. The practice work closely with local authorities on a number of projects in the region. Other project sectors include education, retail, mixed use, industrial and residential.

Due to continued success they are now recruiting for a Landscape Architect to join the team.

Role & Responsibilities

  • You will be dealing directly with clients and have the confidence and experience to manage projects independently
  • Able to confidently work from inception to completion, preferably on a range of public and private developments across rural and urban areas
  • Working on the production of initial concept and detailed designs
  • Production of reports
  • Visiting site.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Possess a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience
  • Ability to work independently
  • Experience of working across the lifecycle of a project.
  • Excellent report writing skills
  • A portfolio that features infrastructure or education projects would be highly beneficial
  • Experience with AutoCAD would be essential and Revit experience would be advantages
  • Due to site visits your own transport would be essential.
