Established for nearly 50 years, this global luxury hospitality architecture and design practice have dominated the hospitality design market for the last 10 years. You would be joining the company at an exciting point of growth and you will become an integral part of a small team to develop their European client base.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Work with Design Director and client to develop schematic FF&E design based on project criteria, program and budget
  • Participate in presentation and ensure format is compatible with office and client standards
  • Develop and maintain FF&E budget
  • Participate in the construction administration of projects and review of submittals and finish samples
  • Serve as principal contact with purchasing agent
  • Review sample, strike-offs, etc. for compliance with specifications and design intent
  • Direct and review furniture plans for content and accuracy and ensure they fully coordinate with architectural, electrical, RCP and lighting plans and other consultants’ drawings
  • Coordinate presentation of artwork
  • Coordinate FF&E installation with all parties involved
  • Knowledgeable about contractual responsibilities as it relates to FF&E in all phases
  • Produce and coordinate with parties involved on finishing schedule
  • Review and modify if necessary all construction documentations and specifications
  • Produce construction packages
  • Translate schematic design into construction drawings
  • Help Design Director maintain continuity of design intent through construction documentation
  • Participate in presentations as needed
  • Assist in coordination of interior architectural documents with work of consultants and architects
  • Prepare interior architectural specifications

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of hospitality interior design experience (or High-end residential could be considered)
  • Proven experience in FF&E design development and documentation
  • Strong technical background, with the ability to oversee the design process from concept to completion
  • Knowledge and understanding of FF&E
  • Outstanding CAD draft and graphic presentation skills
  • Ability to travel frequently, mostly in Europe
  • Proven experience in design development and documentation
  • The ability to adapt to the demands of the business as the London office grows
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Adobe Suite
  • BA in Architecture / Interior Architecture / Interior Design preferred
