Based in the heart of Brixton, this RIBA Chartered architectural firm specialise predominantly in large-scale, high-end residential architectural design. Leaders in commercial, residential, hotels, and master planning projects across the East of England and London, this employee-owned practice has ambition, encourages personal development, and are passionate about high-quality design.

Role & Responsibilities

Business Development responsibilities:

• Seek and promote new business whilst supporting the new business process between directors and the new business clients
• Assisting with administration
• Setting up meetings and presentations
• Document and liaise with potential stakeholders throughout the bidding process.

Marketing & Brand Management responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate marketing and deal with any relevant requests
• Manage the marketing budget within set financial framework
• Identify upcoming Framework Agreements, OJEU notices, and Expressions of Interest and co-ordinate submissions
• Identify new relevant functions, events, and exhibitions to partake in
• Identify upcoming awards and co-ordinate entries
• Attend monthly meetings of Directors and Senior Architects (a forum for the exchange of information)
• Management of marketing correspondence, information, and documentation
• Coordinate quarterly mailshots and other direct marketing initiatives
• Manage, promote and coordinate the branding of the architectural practice
• Manage relations with the press, including keeping a network of press contacts up to date
• Maintain the practices brochures and project sheets
• Keep the practice’s website up to date and relevant
• Coordinate graphic input and photography as required
• Run social media platforms, and ensure posts are up-to-date and relevant on Instagram and LinkedIn.

Required Skills & Experience

• A minimum of 1 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong communication skills and confidence
• Good content and writing abilities
• Design or architectural background experience is preferable but not essential
• Strong writing skills
• Excellent skills in the use of and management of social media tools and platforms
• Website management experience.
