New Homes Sales Advisor Job in Basingstoke

Our client is a reputable provider of sustainable, high-quality new build homes and they now need a New Homes Sales Advisor for their new development in Basingstoke. We are looking for candidates who have new homes sales experience. The role offers a salary of up to £26,000 – £30,000 (OTE Circa £40k – £45k) + comprehensive benefits package.

The group is one of the UK’s largest residential development, regeneration, and property management businesses, they have around 12,000 employees, an annual turnover in excess of £800 million and over £4 billion in assets. Established for over 50 years, they provide not just buildings but sustainable communities across the private sector, assisted living, retirement and leisure sectors. Reporting into the Sales Manager and working independently, the New Homes Sales Advisor will be responsible for managing sales from initial enquiry right through to handover. The role is working Thursday to Monday (Tuesday and Wednesday off) and although mainly based at the Basingstoke site, could involve travel to other sites for absence cover as well.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell outright sale units at the Basingstoke site and occasionally other sites as required
  • Be a brand ambassador for the Group / Brand
  • Proactively manage the day-to-day progression of reservations
  • Identify areas of concern within the reservation process of a unit and problem solve/escalate as necessary
  • Liaise with agents/site staff to ensure accurate and detailed records/notes are kept relating to each sale
  • Assist the Sales Managers in providing accurate forecasting data in relation to expected sales completion dates
  • Maintain accurate and timely information with the functions Accommodation Schedules and Pamwin systems
  • Provide a weekly update on site sales status
  • Promote and sell Sales Extras for Design Your Home and accurately record customer specification choices
  • Maintain accurate plot files
  • Complete accurate Sales Reservations and CML forms in preparation for Sales Manager approval
  • Instruct legal parties on approved Sales Reservations
  • Deal with some invoicing and general administration duties
  • Monitor and attentively respond to new sales enquiries into the sales inboxes/enquiry channels
  • Act as a contact point for buyers and work with/alongside external Sales Agents
  • Ensure effective home demonstration tours are held with each purchaser and an effective handover is completed
  • Look for ways to improve systems and service levels and make appropriate recommendations to the Sales Managers
  • Ensure purchaser’s expectations are met in relation to the reservation and sales processes

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experienced in new homes sales
  • Demonstrable sales track record of meeting sales targets
  • Ability to manage the sales process from initial enquiry through to completion
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • UK Driving Licence and own car
