Planning Manager Job in Nottingham

This is an opportunity for a Planning Manager to join a growing house builder that currently employs over 700 people across 5 regions. They are expanding into 5 new regions which will double the company size in the coming years.

This 5-star house builder are looking to strengthen their land and development team in the Nottingham by appointing a Planning Manager to work closely with the Development Director and Land Director.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage the planning application process
  • Support the Development Director and Land Director
  • Work closely with the Technical to ensure planning applications are prepared properly and in accordance with local authority requirements
  • Manage all Section 106 agreements
  • Keep updated on local and national planning policy changes
  • Provide planning reports for each development

Required Skills & Experience

  • Ideally educated to a degree level of a relevant course
  • Experienced with planning for residential developments
  • Previously worked for a housebuilder (not essential)
  • Ideally 5+ years in Town Planning
