Project Manager Job in London or South East/South West

Project Manager required to join workplace Design and Build firm, the role will be site based and can be anywhere across London or the South. You will be working as part of an established team to oversee and manage the delivery of office and workplace projects throughout the UK.

Established in 2008, the practice operates under a number of divisions and has gone from strength to strength over the years. The successful candidate will need to have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role and have strong knowledge of the design and build sector, including managing all site documentation and setting up the sites.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee and enforce health and safety compliance
  • Manage site documentation
  • Manage sub-contractors and tradespeople on site
  • Travel to and set up/review sites in advance of work commencing
  • Manage the schedule and delivery program
  • Liaise with third parties and internal teams, arranging and attending meetings on/off-site
  • Snagging and raising issues with works teams to ensure correct standards are achieved.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Degree qualified in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture – desirable, not essential
  • 5+ years’ experience of on-site project delivery
  • SMSTS trained
  • Experience and knowledge of CDM Regulations (2015)
  • NEBOSH, Asbestos awareness, first aid, and fire warden training
  • Working knowledge of project planning and construction management software
  • Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle
  • Willingness to travel and stay away from home on a regular basis.
