Quantity Surveyor Job in North East

This is a new opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a water sector civil engineering contractor in their North East region.

My client is a nationwide Civil Engineering contractor within the water and environmental sector, currently spread across 11 offices. Due to new and expanding frameworks and contracts they are now seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team in the North East and to assist in the delivery of water sector projects in the North East and Scotland. This role will be mainly remote/home working with occasional travel to sites and the office.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Work to NEC and bespoke contracts
  • Work closely with Project Management
  • Commercial management of multiple small civils projects
  • Assist with tenders
  • Pricing work
  • Risk mitigation

Required Skills & Experience

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar
  • Civil Engineering project experience
  • Experience with small civils works
  • Experienced in commercial managing multiple small civils project at once
  • Full driving license
