This is an opportunity for a Revit fluent Part II Architectural Assistant, with experience working on residential/mixed-use projects, to join an award winning AJ100 practice in South Central London.

Established 28 years ago, the company is an Architectural and town planning practice run by ten Directors and five Associates, holding nearly 100 members of staff collectively. With offices based in London, Sussex and Bristol, teams consist of a number of Architectural, Technological and Administrative staff, specialising in a variety of sectors such as; Education, Commercial, Community, residential and are experts at Master planning for both urban and rural sites.

Over the years, my client has been shortlisted for over 20 design awards including; 4 RIBA Awards, 4 Civic Trust Awards, 4 residential design awards, and 7 education design awards. They hold a solid AJ position and continue to grow from strength to strength with each exciting year that passes.

Role & Responsibilities

  • To begin you will likely work on a residential scheme and mixed-use project based in the UK
  • Following this you will work on a variety of higher education, commercial and residential projects
  • Assist Architects on a variety of project duties
  • Work on feasibility and master planning
  • Complete detailed drawing packages
  • Report to the Project Lead and Director
  • Use Revit and AutoCAD to a high standard on a daily basis.

Required Skills & Experience

  • A minimum of 1 year’s post Part II qualification experience within the UK
  • Experience working on residential or mixed-use projects
  • Excellent Revit skills are essential for this position
  • Good working knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite
  • An understanding of modern methods of construction
  • A good understanding of current UK Building Regulations
  • A good eye for design
  • Fantastic English, both written and verbal + eligible to work in the UK.
