Senior Architect Job in Birmingham

Our client is an top 20 AJ practice and have a new Senior Architect job working on an exciting range of education projects.

This multidisciplinary company has 10 offices based in the UK and abroad with over 300 members of staff. They work on a diverse range of projects including residential, education, commercial, retail and health. The company has won multiple awards for their work but have also recently achieved excellence in all categories of the workplace wellbeing charter.
They now have a new role for a Senior Architect to join its education project team.

Role & Responsibilities

• Taking a lead role in education-based projects with values of approximately £5 – £20 million
• Working directly with clients from the initial presentation stages to completion
• Managing multiple projects
• Managing design teams
• Assisting with the development of junior team members
• Taking the lead role in taking a project brief, developing initial proposals and detailed design.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience of working on UK based school projects
• Possess a minimum of 10 years post qualification experience
• Working knowledge of Revit
• Excellent communication skills with colleagues and clients
• Background of running large scale and small-scale project simultaneously
• Ability to manage projects and teams at all project stages.
• Experience of BIM level 2 and MMC solutions would be highly desirable.
