Senior Estates Surveyor - Oxford

We are currently working with a local authority who are looking to recruit 2 Senior Estates Surveyors to join the Regeneration and Economy team based out of their city centre office undertaking a number of landlord and tenant duties.

The focus of this role will be to manage a diverse commercial and operational property portfolio of circa 750 properties across the district, this will be by undertaking anything from lease renewals, rent reviews as well as prepare valuations.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working within a local authority or a multi-disciplined practice and be a fully qualified experienced general practice RICS surveyor.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Rent reviews
  • Lease renewals
  • Acquisition and disposal of commercial property
  • Preparation of valuations (including RICS Red Book)
  • Market of vacant property
  • Ratings and CPO when required
  • Consult with stakeholders
  • Implement maintenance programmes and in ensure they comply with H&S regulations
  • Rent and service charge collection alongside Finance team

Required Skills & Experience

  • MRICS
  • Commercial property experience
  • RICS Red Book Valuation experience desirable
