An opportunity for a Senior Garden Designer or Landscape Architect looking to progress further in their career, has now become available in the beautiful location of Notting Hill.

Founded over 20 years ago, with two offices based in London and Devon, they are now a strong team of 30. Specialising in designing, building and maintaining high end private and commercial outside spaces, both countrywide and internationally, they have recently completed projects in Kensington, Portobello, Belgravia, Fulham and Chelsea.
Due to recent success combined with growth, they are now seeking a proactive Senior Garden Designer or Landscape Architect, to help lead their projects and the design team. This position is being offered on a full time, permanent basis and they are ready to welcome this person on board as soon as possible.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage design projects, from start to finish, directly alongside another Senior Garden Designer
  • Support and mentor junior members of the design team
  • Develop mood boards and concept drawings
  • Produce construction drawings, schedules and specification for builds and designs
  • Produce imaginative plant designs
  • Build strong relationships with clients and prospective clients.

Required Skills & Experience

  • A Diploma/Degree in Landscape Architecture or Garden Design, with at least 3 years relevant UK working experience
  • Proven experience in delivering large scale projects
  • Ideally have working knowledge of Vectorworks
  • Experience attending client meetings independently
  • Confident leading and managing small teams
  • Have a good understanding of hard landscaping and construction detailing
  • Enjoy working in a fast moving, dynamic and professional atmosphere
  • Have a good plant knowledge and a love of plants.
