Senior Interior Designer – Hospitality – Central London

Senior Interior Designer required to join a highly creative and passionate hospitality brand in Central London. Due to the continued success of our client’s luxury F&B portfolio they are looking to expand further with a number of openings planned to take place across London, Spain and France. Travel across Europe is a requirement of this role.

Our client is a luxury F&B brand that serves 8,500 diners per day across their current portfolio. Each and every one of their restaurants is characterised by their individuality and creative approach to both, food and design. Your role will be to manage several iconic and highly creative hospitality projects from start to finish.

Role & Responsibilities

  • To manage several projects from concept development to completion
  • To manage Junior and Middleweight Designers, mentoring as and when required to develop their understanding of building relations with contractors and suppliers
  • To lead design research projects and develop concepts, with an individualist style to each project
  • To ensure projects adhere to budgetary requirements whilst still achieving exceptional world-class styles
  • To manage and undertake all documentation associated with construction, as well as coordinating with FF&E resources for each project
  • To create and develop programmes and plans needed for each project.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 6+ years’ hospitality experience and awareness of the wider restaurant industry style/trends, similar experience may also be considered provided there is a proven success of managing and delivering projects
  • A solid understanding of UK building regulations. Additional knowledge of European regulations would also be advantageous
  • Highly proficient in AutoCAD, plus proficiency in other software (SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office)
  • The ability to sketch freehand
  • Excellent project management experience with a proven background in delivering projects on time and within budget
  • Knowledge of joinery, furniture and construction detailing is also essential.
