Senior Revit Architect - SE1, London

Are you a Senior Architect, with experience running education projects valued £20 million + from inception to completion? A well renowned South-Central London practice are looking for a Revit fluent senior, to join their team on a permanent basis.

My client’s portfolio includes education, higher education, residential, student accommodation, healthcare and civic and cultural projects. This appointment will be required to work on a variety of projects from inception to completion, however upon joining you will begin by working on a private sector high school.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Work through RIBA stages 0-7 of projects (full project running)
  • Lead and enthuse a small team of Architects and Assistants
  • Work in Revit and BIM on a daily basis
  • Use NBS software
  • Run a private sector high school project through all RIBA stages
  • Liaise with clients and contractors and attend regular meetings.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Part III qualified with a minimum of 4 years PQE professional experience within the UK
  • Experience delivering major education projects
  • In depth knowledge of UK building regulations
  • Fluent use of Revit (ideally to BIM level 2), with demonstrable experience using this software in professional practice over the last 2 years
  • Proficient use of SketchUp and Adobe Photoshop
  • Proficient in NBS software to write NBS specifications
  • Strong technical and graphical skills
  • Modelling skills and good free hand sketching skills are admirable
  • Fantastic leadership skills with the ability to encourage & inspire a team
  • Excellent written and verbal English and eligible to work in the UK.
