Site Foreman - Hard Landscaping - SW London

Are you an experienced site foreman with experience in the high-end domestic landscaping sector? We have a new site foreman role working for a reputable and award-winning landscape design and build company based in Notting Hill.

The company provides design, build and maintenance services within the high-end domestic and commercial sectors. Established over 20 years ago, they have built a solid reputation in plant knowledge, hard landscaping, and design. They predominantly focus on London based projects in Central London and SW London. To be considered for the role you must have experience in leading teams on-site with impeccable hard landscaping knowledge and experience within the high-end domestic landscaping sector.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage day to day construction works and garden installations to the highest standard
  • Communicate effectively with project managers to ensure timely completion of site
  • Liaising with clients and contractors as required
  • Smooth organisation of ordering materials to site
  • Work to plans, setting out and ensure 100% accuracy on all drawings
  • Keep within budget on materials and labour on site
  • Manage and develop site labourers particularly in stonework and timber work
  • Ensure every garden is finished to the highest specification
  • Daily completion of job sheets highlighting future requirements using Salesforce.
  • Ensure that the van is kept clean and tidy with a full set of tools. Reporting any problems immediately
  • Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed
  • Attend staff meetings
  • Undertake any mandatory training required by the company to deliver the role effectively

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience within hard landscaping
  • Experienced in running hard landscaping teams
  • Ability to work off plans
  • Experienced in stonework, stone construction, paving and cladding
  • Experienced in garden timber work, including decking, trellising and fencing
  • Knowledge of irrigation systems
  • Ability to take ownership and manage jobs efficiently and on time
  • Microsoft Office
  • Excellent client care skills
