Trainee BIM Manager – Sheffield

Are you looking to specialise in BIM and looking for a role with will allow you to develop and gain sector-specific experience? If you have said yes, then this role for a trainee BIM Manager is for you.

Our client has grown from strength to strength and built a diverse portfolio of work in a range of project sectors including education, residential, mixed-use, commercial, and retail.
Due to increased investment and focus on their use of BIM they are looking for a Trainee BIM manger to support their BIM Manager operating from their office in Sheffield.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Supply training to staff members
  • Supply ongoing support and troubleshooting when required
  • Help maintain and quality within the applications and outputs.
  • Implement monitoring and quality assistance in relation to BIM delivery.
  • Assist in the planning and deliveries of short and long-term training strategies and programmes to staff through group and individual training sessions.
    Assist in analysing information arising from national and international standards, clients, and project requirements from BEPs and EIRs and learn to advise staff on implementation and best practice.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience in using Architectural BIM software on construction projects
  • Experience in using ArchiCAD is highly beneficial
  • UK based project experience
  • Model-checking, validation, verification, and COBie outputs.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Able to work collaboratively with members of the team with a wide range of experience and skill levels.
  • Ability to communicate technical issues to a clear and understandable manner.
  • Due to location, you will require your own transport.
