Valuation Surveyor Job in Kings Langley, Hertfordshire

Are you an MRICS qualified Valuation Surveyor looking to work for a reputable practice? Our client is an award-winning Chartered Surveying Practice and commercial property expert, and they now have an opening for a Valuation Surveyor to join their team in Kings Langley. The role will be working across mainly Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire for commercial clients. Offering a salary of between £25,000 – £40,000 + Commission + Flexibility to work remotely.

Established in 2008, the 40 strong firm offers an extensive range of services and advice to tenants, landlords, investors, funders and developers from both the public and private sectors, their current client base consists of offices, warehouses, business parks, retail, shopping centres and hotels. The role will be carrying out valuations for a variety of clients mainly in the Northern Home Counties, but some may be further afield if national clients. To be considered, you must be MRICS qualified and have at least 1 year of experience working as a Valuation Surveyor. Ideally, you will have a commercial background, but residential valuation experience may also be considered.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Undertake valuations and development appraisals with due diligence for loan, acquisition and accounts purposes
  • Preparation of detailed reports and presentation of valuation advice to clients
  • Client liaison, developing existing and new client relationships
    -Inspection and measurement of properties

Required Skills & Experience

  • MRICS Qualified
  • Ideally 1+ years’ experience working for a commercial property practice / agency (residential valuation experience may also be considered)
  • Excellent report writing skills
  • Passion for valuations
  • Excellent client care skills
  • UK Driving Licence and own vehicle
